Dr Teresa Jelley

BDS (Birm) 2008, GDC Number – 6280

Jaye headshot 2

As the owner of the practice Jaye is enthusiastic to encourage self development and try to inspire people to achieve their dreams. Having left school without formal education, Jaye worked in various care homes then found a full time job as a dental nurse. This inspired her to return to collage to gain GCSE’s and then A’Levels and apply to do the BDS course. Unfortunately, she didn’t quite obtain the grades so she went back & took some more A’Levels! Again, unsuccessful so she decided to embark on the diploma in dental hygiene, a two year course. Jaye explained this experience as amazing but still wanted to become a dentist, so reapplied. Finally, after completing two years of hygiene training Jaye graduated in July 2003 and then commenced the BDS degree (a further 5years of study) in September 2003.

Determination and tenacity is the key to success & having the end goal in sight always.

I am passionate about all things dental and aim to provide affordable family dental care to the people of Herefordshire, in luxury surroundings with cutting edge technology.

Michael Betteridge is our oral surgery specialist. He moved to Hereford in 1992 to work in the Oral Department of the Hereford County Hospital till 2005 when he started to work part time at the Birmingham Dental Hospital working as an Associate Specialist in the Oral Surgery and Oral Medicine Departments. The rest of his time was spent providing oral surgery care and a dental implant service in the primary care environment. He is on the Oral Surgery Specialist List and able to provide  a caring and convenient oral surgery service, under sedation if needed.

Beyond dentistry Mike is an avid F1 fan and can often be found on a Sunday afternoon perched on the sofa watching the race. Of course the other reason why Mike can be found on the sofa on Sundays is because he is a massive roadie. That’s right Saturdays are often filled with peddling the roads of Herefordshire on his specialised road bike.
