We try to do this in a number of ways, we have a child’s play area, we provide character glasses for their appointment, we allow them to sit on their parent’s knee if they would like; the most important factor is that they feel at ease.
As qualified oral health educators we are able to promote healthy eating, we use visual aids to show decay. Encouraging children to want to look after their teeth can ensure they remain free of dental pain and decay for life.
